MICHI FLOW

Campaigns That Carry the Soul of Japanese Brands to the World.
Video advertising, campaign creative and brand planning for Japanese businesses reaching Western audiences.
From creative direction and video production to full campaign management and paid social — we handle the entire journey from first idea to live campaign. Every decision is made with one goal: to present your brand honestly, compellingly, and in a way that connects.

What We Do
Choose the level of support you need—from a single video advertisement to a complete campaign or Western-market brand plan.
Video Advertising & Creative Production
We shape the narrative before anything goes into production. Your values, your voice, and your vision lead every creative decision from first concept to final cut.
Advertising Campaign Design & Content Systems
From short-form social ads to long-form brand films, we produce content that carries your authentic identity — crafted to connect with Western audiences without compromising who you are.
Social Media Advertising & Campaign Management
We plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns across Western platforms — handling strategy, targeting, and performance so you don't have to.
International & Cultural Adaptation
Bridging Japanese and Western audiences takes more than translation. We understand both sides deeply and work closely with you at every stage so nothing goes out that doesn't feel right to you.
Examples of our work
Every brand has a different story to tell. These concept pieces showcase the range of what we create — from emotional long-form storytelling to stylish short-form content — each built around a clear creative intention and crafted to connect with international audiences.
Ritual Sake - Solo Concept Social Ad — 19 Seconds — Instagram / TikTok / Facebook
Cut specifically to 19 seconds to sit within the optimal engagement window across Instagram Reels, TikTok, and Facebook feed — where audience drop-off is highest past 20 seconds. A single character builds tension through stillness before the product lands as a release. Designed for cross-platform delivery without adaptation, maintaining impact at every placement.
Under Heaven Thermal Robe — Short Form Social Concept TikTok / Instagram Reels Ad — Under 10 Seconds
Built specifically for short-form platforms where the first two seconds determine everything. This piece leads with a relatable, humorous hook — a Christmas mix-up — before revealing the product naturally through the story. Cut to under 10 seconds to maximise completion rates on TikTok and Instagram Reels, where sub-10-second content consistently outperforms longer cuts in retention and share rate. Designed to drive curiosity and direct viewers to a purchase link in the video description — converting attention into action without interrupting the native feel of the platform.
Ritual Sake — Together Concept Social Ad — 30 Seconds — YouTube / Facebook
Crafted for YouTube pre-roll and Facebook feed placements where a longer narrative has room to breathe. Three characters move from individual ritual to shared celebration — demonstrating how a brand story can expand across a wider canvas while staying tonally consistent with shorter cuts in the same campaign.
Shiroyama Ski Resort Concept Social Brand Film — 29 Seconds — YouTube / Facebook
Deliberately cut to 29 seconds to qualify for non-skippable YouTube pre-roll placement while remaining within Facebook's optimal engagement threshold. Built around a single, universal feeling — that everyone is welcome and everyone will find their moment. Told through character and humour rather than hard sell, this film communicates the warmth and inclusivity of the resort in a way that stays with the audience long after the ad ends.
Aetheria Bubble Art Festival — Billboard Campaign Concept Poster Campaign — Print & Out of Home
A three-poster outdoor campaign designed to work as a unified visual system across different billboard placements. Each poster tells a different emotional story about the same event — spectacle, intimacy, and wonder — while maintaining consistent typography and identity throughout. Demonstrating that strong campaigns aren't single executions, but coherent worlds built across multiple touchpoints.

Why Michi Flow
Narrative First
Every campaign begins with a story.
When a brand’s values and intentions are clearly understood, every creative decision becomes stronger. By shaping the narrative first, we ensure that campaigns feel purposeful rather than fragmented.
Audience Understanding
Creative work only succeeds when it speaks to the right people.
We shape campaigns around how audiences actually experience advertising — ensuring that ideas are presented in a way that captures attention and resonates naturally.
Cross-Cultural Perspective
Great brands can resonate anywhere.
Our role is to translate ideas across cultures so they remain authentic while connecting naturally with international audiences.
